Christi I purchased a Nun Orchid, Phaius tankervilleae, at a local
nursery. Have you ever tried to grow these in the Valley? The plant is

The nun orchids do fine and bloom well in South Texas, as long as they are
partially shaded and given plenty of water. They prefer moist medium at all
